A book about some poor bloke who lost his life. As he travels through the anger phase of loss he contemplates how to channel his hate, by killing Boris Johnson.

Written well from the first person, but in a strange fashion which can be irritating at times. The bereaved man is authentic and you can tell the author has done his research.

As an ex head teacher he comes across as a strict disciplinarian with a strong desire to deliver rights from wrongs. It makes for dry characterless reading at times, representing a persona subsumed by the void of depression.

This could be brilliant, but it could be hard going too, it depends on how the reader adjusts to the style and the content. But the character development is so good that it looks like being at least a good read.

I hope the plot does not fall into the fault lines of stereotypes: anger - destruction - redemption.
