The structure of this book is absolutely fascinating to me. I really like the way it is laid out as diary entries, but with other tasks set by the therapist, which show all these different sides of the narrator. I wasn't sure how I'd find the convention of the redacted name but it intrigued me rather than annoyed me. I am extremely particular about my crime fiction, usually liking some specific hook or structure to pique my interest and I can't stop thinking about this one, which I completely did not expect to happen.
