The minimalistic cover immediately grabbed my attention, along with the title.
I particularly like the narrative style of this first chapter. I feel it’s more revealing of the character to hear their point of view without being overly descriptive. I hope it continues in this style as if love to read it in full. I’ve not immediately engaged with the protagonist but he has my sympathy which is a start. Looks promising!
