We learn more of the writer's mind and his intentions from the promotional notes and introductory blurb than from the opening pages of this work.
We have become familiar to the use of redaction as we move in a world that has segued into one of subversive use of secrecy and false news.
And of state intention to subvert openness.
The author uses this blocking technique in his title piece and in his opening chapters to black out the name of some very relevant individual.
We now know he knows who this is, we now know his "interrogator" and lawyer know who this is?
Will we ever know?
That is the intrigue that we are offered for our opening impression.
It is certain to test our cerbral functionality.
