I love the cover of this....very stark and simple, but really effective and catches the eye and makes you want to find out more.
On paper (excuse the pun) this should tick all my boxes - it sounds like an interesting revenge thriller and the backstory is intriguing with enough hints and information in the blurb to pique my interest, but somehow it just doesn't get me....I think it might be a bit of an overload and it really feels like the blurbs selling this as a deep, psychological study with some meta meaning and it all sounds a bit like it's aiming for greatness but going to fall short.
