I really liked the idea of the story, which was a very good one - Michael- A man devastated by the destruction of his wife in a terrorist attacks seeks to kill the Prime Minister as 'payback' for him not preventing the attack.
Despite the interesting story line, which was accompanied by Michael's life story as a headmaster and father, it was slow and uneventful for the most of it. I almost gave up reading part way through as the story didn't seem to be going anywhere. The therapist seemed insignificant, as did his relationship with his father and the issues he had at work.
The ending was predictable, but the action was over within a few pages, and without any real conclusion. A great idea for a story...just not written in a way that engaged me.
