I will give this book 3/5 stars, solely because while I didn't get to finish this one, I'm sure I will come back to it in the future and enjoy it much more than I am at the moment.
I've been very up and down with my reading so far this year - unable to get into a lot of books that are actually very good and well-written - and this unfortunately was one of the ones I just couldn't get into. Which is such a shame, as the premise is extremely good and I know I'd like it if I'd been able to give it a better chance.
From the reviews on Goodreads, though, I can see that this novel is popular with those who read it, so I will definitely aim to try again in the future and update this review once I do get a proper chance to read it!
