I'm not entirely sure where I stand on this one. Whilst it was an entertaining enough read, thus far, I didn't feel really drawn in to the character of Lex or the plot. I have read something very similar which was pretty funny but that level of humour seems to be missing here and yet there is something tongue in cheek about it all that has a certain promise.

The writing is quite breezy and insouciant, despite the subject matter, and it definitely comes across as not your typical spy or thriller book. The scene setting is good but I do worry that the plot and the characterisations may be insubstantial and it is those that drive a book for me.
