I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, but read the synopsis and thought it sounded interesting.
I love crime/thriller books and thought that this seemed a bit different from the usual.
This book has humility, as well as action and humour. It made me realise how many crime/thriller books neglect to use characters with families. Granted the story doesn’t always lend to that much of a backs story, but I felt like the protagonists newly acquired parent-life added to the story greatly.
I enjoyed the scene setting, I felt like a lot of research was done into the life of a ‘spy’, but it didn’t take itself too seriously.
The characters were great, but I think I’d have enjoyed some deeper character development at times.
Overall I thought the book was great; a few laughs, some action and relatable life-stuff is what made it so good.

The cover was relevant to the story and I like how simple but affective the design is.
