This is a story of a mother and wife who is also a covert operative for Her Majesty’s Secret Service. She comes back from maternity leave and is put on a mission to get close to the wife of her target, a Russian oligarch.
I enjoyed the book. I found it easy to read and it didn’t take much thinking but I didn’t find myself rushing to pick it up. I love espionage and love that she is a working mom. The book was written well and it is a good first novel. This can become a series easily as it it left resolved but an option for more books.
I find myself not dwelling on what I’ve read. It has not left a lasting impression on me. It would be a great holiday read. I would read more by this author but wouldn’t find myself rushing out to buy the next book.
