I loved it,the baby antics, the 'office' rivalries and the love for motherhood, what I didn't like however was the obviousness of the authors particular views regarding liberalism and feminism. I have no problem with feminist heroes or liberal stories however I do have a problem with it when it seems pushed in my face, and when it did come up some of it felt a little forced and it was clear the author had almost set the entire plot around the idea of patriarchy.

Despite that it didn't ruin the book just irked me a little whenever it happened as I can understand that it is, at certain points, needed for small sections of the plot and mystery but overall I don't think it needed it.

Even so this book is a great read that I have recommended to friends already and will continue to do so as well as reread for many years to come I hope, especially when I hit mother good myself... How daunting!?
