I’m totally convinced that I’ve just read a similar book to this and I’ve seen a few films on the same theme. I’m not sure you can say this book is unique or cutting edge but if you like reading a story about a powerful woman Who won’t say no for an answer I think you can enjoy this book. Like I said it is very similar to a A film I saw recently and I am absolutely certain I won a book which was virtually the same as this- but you know lots of writers make their money by copying warning plots so there is no reason not to pick this book up and give it a go. I would say if you don’t like reading about women who lead to you lives under a bit deceitful then you probably won’t enjoy it likewise if you’re a misogynist but other than that I would totally recommend sitting down on a rainy day given this one ago.
