I always like my thrillers to have a snarky sense of humour and a book about an assassin mum? That sounded perfect for me. And it turned out I did quite enjoy it. It was a fast paced book with some really sweet and funny moments. I did lose focus a little near the end but after a few chapters I was right back in it again. It wasn't even because the story was bad but it just got a little slow and easy to skim. It made up for it though.

I also really liked Jake... By the end I was actually torn as I love her and Will together but Jake would be so good to and it reminded me of something and yeah, feels.

Would recommend for sure. I'm hoping that there will be more books with Alexis as I wanna see Gigi grow up and her kickass mum.
