When I first got this book, I had some expectations but I was still quite open-minded. It turns out this book was as great as I expected and I enjoyed reading it immensely.
The plot is great. I mean there aren’t that many books with female spies with babies in them trying kill of Russian business men. The plot never bored me and I was constantly surprised by the plot twists. The book just kept me engaged throughout it.
The characters, especially Lex, are interesting. They are complex and there are some issues they have to work through within the story so that kind of gives the book more context and more depth. And of course, there is a baby and you can never go wrong with a baby. Additionally, some of the characters were surprising in bad ways and it was hard to make out who is the good guy and who is bad.
I like the writing style. Although, it is a serious book as in adventure and action, there is still humor in it and I think that makes the book lighter and easier to read.
All in all, this was a great book and I’m glad I got to read it.
