I gave this to my 14 year old daughter to read as she is a huge Pretty Little Liars fan! Her verdict is that it is confusing to start with, but she was drawn in by allusions to Harry Potter (always a winner!) and Sara Shepherds very relatable colloquial language "icky". Having struggled to start, she didn't want to stop reading and is now intrigued as to what will happen next!!
