Very little of interest to me.
It is abundantly clear that this is a continuation of a series, with the heavy exposition dump at the beginning. Unfortunately, the poor writing and rather generic characters don't make me want to read on, or go back to the beginning of the trilogy; if the characters are this flat in book three, how must they have been in book one? The opening, with the small boy in captivity was intriguing, with a good understanding of a child's voice, but the rest was uninteresting.
The cover was fine, but wouldn't make me want to read the book.
