Ahh the finale and definitely the most interesting book on the trilogy. Last Seen returns you straight to Seneca and the gang's world as they discover Aerin has been kidnapped by Brett. He says he'll give her back but in return they have to solve a recent kidnapping case for him. One that's related to a cold case from many years ago, oooh.
The crime and criminal aspects of this book are mostly pretty good. There's obviously questionable parts but it mostly rings true which pleases me. But it also makes feelings in the book more complicated as nothing is black and white.
Seneca did annoy me a little. I understood her issues but, once again, she could be a bit much. Madison was probably my favourite character or maybe Thomas.
Even though this wasn't the best book or series I've read, it's definitely better than PLL. So ignore Sara Shepard's name if it puts you off and at least give it a chance!
