I have read the two previous books, to which are recommended to thoroughly understand this book. It is complex in plot twists and its criminology terms. All of the main characters truly bud in this book; showing all of their sides, not just the good ones.
I personally took an entire day to binge read it so I could finish the trilogy. Shepard has a way with words that makes it feel like you are simultaneously being hunted by the killer as well as hunting them.
Some people say sequels are never as good as the original and definatly not as good as the second book yet i would confirm this to be on par with the original.
The final suprises leave you wanting more even though there is a general acceptance that all of the characters have had peace with their independent mysteries.
I would highly recommend this to any young adult readers who do not mind slightly grissly and intense crime thrillers.
