This book is in one of my favourite genres - I love young adult mysteries and thrillers, so I was very excited to win this book, the third in its series by Sara Shepard. I love the cover - the whole series has had great covers that attract attention and draw the eye. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the story itself. I found the writing style to be awkward and the story just didn't work for me. I found it to be a frustrating read, much like the first books in the series - I hoped that it would be better, but I have decided that Sara Shepard's books clearly aren't for me. It feels like, after the success of the Pretty Little Liars series, Shepard is either being lazy with this series, or just got lucky with PLL and wasn't that great a writer before anyway.
