I wanted to read The Amateurs Last Seen as I adored watching every episode of Pretty little Liars that Sara Shephard had written. As I watched the TV series I didn't read any of the books too.
With this new book series The Amateurs I didn't get to read The Amateurs book 1 or Follow Me The Amateurs book 2. But I do wished I had read the other two books The Amateurs series. However I personally don't feel that I really missed out any of the action while jumping ahead and reading The Amateurs Last Seen book 3. I would like to point out that any reader can read The Amateurs Last Seen book 3 as a stand alone, but it maybe wise to read from book 1.

Without giving too much away in The Amateurs Last Seen book 3, Seneca Frazier, Maddox Wright and her stepsister, Madison Aerin Kelly and Thomas Grove and Brett Grady all met on a crime solving website. Their first case was to figure out what happened to Helena Kelly, Aerin's sister. I really did like reading about Brett's very dark character. Even if you don't like Brett, I personally found him quite a fascinating character to read about.
