Wow! First impression I thought it was a bit weird because the title suggested the dog was the lawyer, but I was even more baffled when I realized the dog has it’s own lawyer! This book seems really intriguing and much deeper than to what the eyes first see. The author talks about how the main character, Sally is a lawyer and her ex is a judge??? Wow they would have been one hell of a power couple. But sally is the lawyer to this dog and this dog is in the middle of a massive divorce case. I feel like maybe sally and her family ex will also reconnect because of this dog? However I can’t be sure as this doesn’t really seem like a love story, it seems more of a discover yourself story that I really like the vibe of. Most self discovery books take place before the main character even knows what to do with their lives, but I love how the MC is grown and has a career! This is definitely on my TBR!
