What a lovely quirky book.
Most of the story is witty dialogue and the pages just kept turning over until I came to the end all in one sitting.
Having said that, the story deals with several important issues - divorce, death, and caring for ageing parents in a real and understanding way.
I loved all the characters and the plot was novel and humorous.
I will immediately try to source the sequel Lawyer for the Cat although I’m not sure whether this Format will work for a whole series- it might get a bit tired and repetitive.
