I have never really seen the tragedy of losing a child being tackled in literature before. It is a heartbreaking concept and I would really like to see how the parents cope. A lot of parents tend to get divorced or split up after they lose their child and I would like to see whether or not Lola and Duncan’s relationship survives it.
The description leaves me wondering how Duncan’s life falls apart, does he suffer another loss? I really do hope that their is a happy ending for this couple, seeing as they have already been through a lot. I do hope they stay together.
I also really like the title, it is the first thing that I noticed and I am wondering how it will tie into the theme of the book. The front cover is also spectacular, red is a magnificent colour and it caught my eye right away!!
I will probably read this when it comes out as I am intrigued as to how it will all go down.
