I enjoyed this book although it was a little slow in the middle. The idea of a secret fauxmance between the c-list celebrities and the contractual secret goings on which celebrities have to endure to keep their private lives private was intriguing. The celebrities lifestyle is not all champagne and posh parties there is a hidden murky dark side. Lily Thane is a child star, from an established theatrical family, who has not been able to get a decent job since she was a child. Adam Harker is secretly gay and establishes a secret fauxmance with Lily to hide his sexually and enhance her profile. The story builds on Lily's relationships with her meddling momager, to her slightly more successful cousin Dido, and her loopy friends Nina and Thalia. I loved the double plot twist at the end I really didn't get a sense of who killed Adam till the last couple of chapters!
