I was expecting to receive a copy of this book to review several months ago but it never actually arrived. Sadly, I don't know anything more about former child star Lily Thane, a struggling thirty-something actress or her old stage school buddy, Adam Harker, who was on the brink of making it big but needing an appropriate red carpet companion to seal the deal. Apparently Lily fit the bill. Soon after signing on the dotted line, Adam's dark side starts to surface and their perfect fauxmance turned toxic. But when Adam wound up dead in a swimming pool, Lily was the only person who cared enough to find out why. She's convinced someone was out to get Adam, and now they're after her. I would love to know how all this transpires but looks like it won't be any time soon. This sounded like a good plot and the cover design was really appealing so maybe it's one for another day.
