I initially found this book quite difficult and slow to get into (the chat about all the actors in her family and Didos dinner party) but once Lily and Adam arranged their agreement to be a fake couple I found myself engrossed in the story and enjoyed it. Lily and Ada, knew each other from years before when they were at drama school together. They randomly meet again in a pub. Adam persuades Lily to have a fauxmance with him, one which should be beneficial to both of them. Adam's dark side is revealed and he ends up dead in a swimming pool. Lily is convinced there is more to his death and starts investigating.
The premise of this book certainly makes it one I would choose to read. I enjoy books that are based around celebrity and the different world they exist in. It reminded me slightly of the way Taylor Jenkins Reid writes, especially Malibu Rising.
