The cover pulled me towards it first, because any books at the moment that have 'girl' or 'girls' in the title makes me want to find out whether it's a feminist story or falls into the LGBT category. Reading the description also made me want to read it and I really enjoyed reading the opening extract. It made me agree (so many school memories that relate to these, even though I didn't attend an all-girls school), smile (I loved the Enid Blyton reference, because I was thinking modern-day Enid Blyton when I read the opening paragraph about the uniform) and laugh (the reaction the retreat was so funny!) I'd love to read this more.
