I personally struggled to get into this book and didn't really see where the story was going. I didn't warm to the character of Laura which made it harder to enjoy. Whilst there were things that took me back to my school days and did make me smile, it felt a little over engineered. I am sure there is a plot to the story and this gets better as you progress but I personally was not drawn in and wouldn't be looking to read any more of this book. I needed to be engaged from the beginning but sadly I wasn't. The style of writing and chapter titles were confusing for me and I weirdly found it hard to read. I think because there was a lot of characters introduced early on, I then found it hard to keep up, even after a few chapters. There is obviously a story behind Laura and Steph and their fall out so it maybe that other readers are hooked by this and would want to read more.
