The first look was really interesting, you get thrown into the story and I am super intrigued to find out what happens throughout the story.
It's written pretty well, you follow the story as if Lauren is sat with you telling her life story - it's fast paced and scattered, much like I would imagine a teenager explaining their life would be, always flitting between moments and characters. The first look introduces a lot of different people and it has already introduced an 'ex-best friend' that something has happened with.
I like the way the chapters are titled, it helps with knowing where in the story you are and also points out any 'flashback' moments that are woven in. I'm hoping the chapter titles are a description to something big that's happened.
