I first started reading this book as the title ' like other girls' intrigued me. it seemed to be the perfect book about the typical girl and the expectation of all girls. when Lauren is upset and wants to speak to her boyfriend but he is only interested in kissing her, she gets mad and tells him she is a girl that has feelings and storms off. After a night of drinking with her friends talking about how boys are stupid she sleeps after sending her boyfriend Justin a text where she says she is done with him and sick of him not listening to her. in the morning she realises and tells him it was a drunk text but he breaks up with her. this book is the perfect book for our society it fits in with experiences and girls can easily read it
