I’ve only read the first few pages and already this book is breaking my heart. The story sounds like every parents worst nightmare, and the writing perfectly illustrates the story of this crucial day. I also like the way that we jump forward in time to the (I assume) current day, as I imagine we will be going back to unpick the months that we missed in between. It looks like a brilliant book and the front cover is bold.
