The dramatic opening scene vividly depicts the panic of losing sight of a child in a crowded area and things only get more chilling when it appears Sebastian has been abducted, lured by the promised sweet delight he was looking forward to. Even a short way into the book I've taken a bit of a dislike to Derek. I get the sense the author can skilfully create tension and the book will be an exciting read.
