A mere couple of lines in and the relatable lead character is already pulling at your heartstrings...a momentary lapse leads to tragedy as a child disappears and a mother blames herself. This pacy novel sets the scene so clearly you’ll never let go of your child’s hand again...and that’s before the main drama starts to unfold! I couldn’t wait to read more...from the husbands reaction to concerned and caring friend ‘Sal’...is all it seems to be? Does the eerie location on the front cover relates to...the husband or the missing child (or something else entirely)...I was gripped from the start and can’t wait to see where the story leads and the characters develop.
