I first wasn’t impressed with the plot, however, as I began to read the first few pages I became hooked. The author’s descriptions makes you feel as if you are in Seattle. You can clearly picture the surroundings, aiding you to feel submersed within the story. As you begin to read you can easily relate to Marin and her hectic day out, which tragically turns into a mother’s worst nightmare. When she realises her son is missing you are again fully entwined in her thoughts.
