Marin suffers the worst of happenings when her son is taken. The description of the busy Christmas market and Marin doing her chores makes the incident seem so easily done...but none the less harrowing. Every parent will feel her pain as everyone thinks at some stage they have lost their child. Poor Marin.
However, the title of the book suggests there is much more to the story and the cover is inviting.
