I was sucked straight into this book from the very beginning with it's constant twists and turns. It's a highly addictive and fast paced thriller which I couldn't put down and I read it in just a few sittings because I was so keen to find out what was going on.
The story revolves around Marin, who's life falls apart when her son Sebastian is taken. Fast forward to a year later and her son is still missing but the search has gone cold and she barely even speaks to her husband Derek anymore. Behind her husband's back, she hires a private investigator to help find her son but in doing so she instead discovers that Derek is having an affair with a much younger woman. Marin has already lost her son, she doesn't want to lose her husband as well and so she plans on doing something about that.
I highly recommend this book, I was very impressed and left feeling satisfied that we were given closure at the end. Definitely worth five stars!
