Im a sucker for psychological thrillers so when it came to a point where most books of the genre were very generic, id lost hope a little. This story is nothing if the sort however and was an intriguing and twisty book from the start. Marin is an interesting character with a lot if depth. Its hard not to sympathise with her when Sebastian is taken in the opening moments of the book.
I also want to note that the front cover of this book is one of the reasons I first decided to give this book a try. It is intriguing even if it is a bit generic. The plot flowed well and the story as a whole leaves you feeling satisfied. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more from this author. My only gripe with this book is that there were a few points where I recall losing interest, this may have been because I was busy but I do feel like the pacing could have been ironed out in places.
