I loved the sound of 'Little Secrets' and was eager to read it. I expected to read about the horrendous aftermath after your child goes missing, as well as the mother's descent into craziness as she struggles to cope.
However, I found the book to be pretty mediocre. The pacing was very slow, and the blurb seemed to tell the whole story. I didn't find any of the characters likeable or relatable, so I didn't really care what happened (except to the little boy who went missing).
After Sebastian, the little boy, goes missing at the start of the book, not much happens for the majority of the book that hadn't already been revealed in the blurb. There was a good twist at the end of the book, but, unfortunately, it wasn't worth reading the entire book for it.
