This novel follows Marin as she experiences the devastating loss of her 4 year old son Sebastian who is kidnapped whilst on an outing with her.
Then 16 months later she discovers that her husband is having an affair and embarks on a journey to keep the only family she has left.
This story taken you on a roller-coaster of emotions. And whilst I guessed what was coming it was done so well that I was pleased. Excellent book.
Even throughout there were times I felt that the story was moving slowly but there was an everlasting fear that something big was going to happen at any moment.
THEN IT DID
The ending was a combination of heart breaking and heartwarming and I thought it das the perfect ending
