This book kept me gripped from the start. You really get into the characters and their emotions.
The story starts with Marin at a Christmas Market with her son Sebastian. After letting go of his hand to answer a text message he goes missing and is seen going out of the market with a person dressed in a santa outfit. When the case goes cold, Marin is just existing with only support from her best pal Sal and hires a private investigator to help find her son. She finds out her husband is hiding a secret of his own he is having an affair with Kenzie and Marin decides on revenge. As the story continues you are left on the edge of your seat as more secrets are revealed. There are lots of twists and turns with an ending I did not guess
