I was so impressed with this book! The characters are imperfect and human and this only made me love them more – I was so invested in their stories and watching the consequences of their decisions play out.
The book follows every mothers’ worst nightmare, as someone has stolen Marin’s son. You can feel her panic and despair throughout the book and she is such an honest and raw character. I found myself desperate for answers alongside her, questioning the other character's motives.
I gasped out loud at the twists and could not put the book down! A brilliant suspense novel, emotional and powerful, that will stay with me for a long time. I will definitely be trying more of Jennifer Hillier's books!
