The cover is bright, colourful and eye catching and definitely gives the Young Adult genre vibe. The blurb is nice and short, and makes this novel seem like a fun and intriguing read.
However, I found the first impression to be disappointing. The writing style simply lacked description. It didn’t flow well and easily, but instead made the story seem quite boring.
The characters also seemed to lack personality. Other than Tins being the loud and outgoing one, and Lottie being the shy and reserved one, there really isn’t any other difference between the two sisters. I honestly cannot find any other traits shown by their actions or words.
