Live a little, Madeleine Reiss

When I saw the cover and read the premise, I thought it was a very interesting concept.

The cover, being red, reminds me of a daring/dangerous vibe. It suits the story and sisters, which I’ll be explaining later.

I clicked on the excerpt and got to know sisters Carlotta and Tina, respectively also known as Lottie and Tina. They have very different personalities, which makes the interactions between them interesting. Lottie is a very reserved and quiet girl, with a boyfriend who she’ll soon marry, everything is the same in her life, safe, no irregularities. Tina is the opposite, she comes off as a reckless, daring girl. Now, when looking at the cover, I definitely know who is Tina and who is Lottie.

From what I’ve read so far, Reiss has done a great job of developing the character and exploiting their traits. The book, in conclusion, sounds very interesting!
