The book cover was bright and the illustration indicated to me that this would be a light hearted read. Unfortunately page 4 was blank so I couldn’t tell how it started and this then threw me when the story properly started.
I like to have a rule that a book has to grip me in the first couple of pages and this didn’t. My interest quickly withered away.
I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but I’m thinking this is an easy female “soft and fluffy” type of read with no grit to the story or the characters.
