Live a Little is the story of two sisters, Lottie and Tina, who decide to take a road trip together in order to lay their older sisters ashes to rest. The trip also gives the two sisters some much needed time together before Lottie gets married to her long term partner, Dean.
The best part of this book for me was gradually uncovering the story of the three sisters when they were younger, and how they all supported each other through some very difficult times. Uncovering the story of how their sister had died, and the guilt they both carry over it, was really quite emotional.
However, for me, this book didn't entirely work. There were too many distracting side plots, some of which were way too far fetched. I didn't really enjoy these parts, and thought it took away from the overall emotional impact of the book.
