This book follows two sisters who have grown apart following the death of their other sister . With Lotties wedding day looming, and Tina doesn’t want her to marry the groom, she challenges her to ditch her current hen party plans and come on a whirlwind adventure across America. The only catch is that Lottie has to say yes to every challenge that Tina comes up with.
There’s a couple of positives about this book. It’s relatable as
I have two older sisters. The cover looks super fun. It started of really good and interesting, but the more I got into it, the more that Tina’s character grated on me. She’s really irresponsible, acting like a teenager even though she’s 40. At one point she challenges Lottie to drive blindfolded. Like what the hell. And she’s encouraging her to cheat on her soon to be husband. I think it’s pretty disgusting behaviour.
And surely if you loved your sister, you’d let her be happy and marry who she wants? I DNF’d about halfway through, purely because there wasn’t enough happening to keep my intrigue and Tina was grating on me!!
