when i first picked this up and read a small portion i rated this book with 4 stars and suggested that it was an enjoyable read, i'd enjoyed it so far (although their were definitely stories that i've read in the past and enjoyed that little bit more) and i was keen to continue reading this story and seeing how it would unfold and progress. i was looking foward to seeing what was to come and thought it could be quite an interesting read.
after reading it in full i can now confirm that i did enjoy it more than i initially expected to and feel it now deserves a 5 star rating. it was emotional in places but i feel it was well written and a nice easy read which was simple to follow.the characters were great! it really did suprise me and i did manage to get through it quite quickly in the end. the characters were great and i am 1 of 5 daughters so it did pull at my heart strings a little. I also have a friend called 'lottie' which felt like another great touch.
overall, i loved how thought provoking this story was. it totally made me think about how your childhood shapes your future.
