When I read the blurb and the First Look, it didn't mention Lottie and Tina's ages but because of the drawings on the book cover and the fact they were going on a road trip, I had expected them to be in their late twenties. However, it turned out that they are in their forties. There's nothing wrong with their ages, but because I'm in my early twenties, I found it very hard to relate to them. The men in the book are also quite unrealistic in my opinion. It was very obvious that they were written from a female perspective. Finally, I was disappointed with how the book started out with them already on their road trip. I would have liked more of a backstory to understand Lottie and Tina a bit more instead of understanding their past through flashbacks.
