This was a lighthearted, fun read. The story of two sisters who travel half way around the world together to reconnect and scatter their sisters ashes. Lottie is the quieter of the two sisters ready to get married and settle down whilst Tina is a party girl moving from one boy to the next. Tina tries throughout the trip to shake up Lotties life, there’s one rule throughout the trip: Lottie must do everything Tina says!

I loved how the relationship between the two sisters developed and evolved throughout the book, especially the second half which I found much more enjoyable and faster paced.
The main reason I didn’t rate this higher was because I struggled to believe in the characters - they seemed very immature for their 40+ years. Secondly the author didn’t provide me enough backstory early on so for the first half of the book I didn’t feel like I could relate to them, thus forcing me to question every decision they made. To be fair I think that’s a personal preference as I tend to favour a books that run on two timelines.

Overall I’d recommend this to anyone looking for something for a light read, It’s definitely not life changing but I enjoyed watching the relationships evolve.
