This was a struggle to read. Reading other reviews, maybe I'm missing something from this book? I found that I just didn't connect with Tina or Lottie, nor did I particularly care for Spike. I found that a lot of the characters were perhaps a little stereotypical and what you would expect. The only bits of this novel that I found myself enjoying were the descriptions of where Tina and Lottie were travelling on their road trip. However, this was not enough to keep my interest. The first 100 pages were especially hard to read, the opening of the book was good, I liked it, it had a slight mystery to it but for me, the book was just lacking something which was a shame.
Although all opinions are my own, I would like to thank Zaffre and Readers First for the advanced copy.
